Those responsible for Delhi blast will be brought to justice, says Rajnath Singh

New Delhi Nov 11 (UNI) Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday promised that those behind the deadly explosion near Delhi’s Red Fort will be brought to justice, affirming that the culprits “will not be spared under any circumstances.”
More than 10 people were killed and 24 others were injured in an explosion that took place on Monday night.
Speaking at the Delhi Defence Dialogue organised by the Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (MP-IDSA), Singh said the country’s top investigative agencies are conducting a “swift and thorough” probe into the November 10 blast that killed eight people and injured several others.
“I extend my heartfelt condolences to all those who lost their lives in the tragic incident in Delhi yesterday. I pray to God to grant strength and courage to the bereaved families in this hour of deep grief,” he said.
“From this platform, I wish to assure the nation that the country’s leading investigative agencies are conducting a swift and thorough inquiry into the incident. The findings of the investigation will soon be made public. Those responsible for this tragedy will be brought to justice and will not be spared under any circumstances,” Singh added.
Meanwhile, union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired a high-level security review meeting following the explosion. The meeting was attended by Home Secretary Govind Mohan, Intelligence Bureau Director Tapan Deka, National Investigation Agency (NIA) Director General Sadanand Vasant Date, and Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golchha. Jammu and Kashmir DGP Nalin Prabhat joined the meeting virtually.
Taking to social media platform X, Shah said he had directed agencies to “hunt down each and every culprit” involved in the incident, assuring that all those responsible “will face the full wrath of the country’s investigative agencies.”
The Home Minister also reviewed the overall security situation and the ongoing investigation into Monday evening’s explosion, which claimed several lives and left multiple people injured.
